William Wright

William B Wright, 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather; was called to his eternal resting place on February 9, 2023.

He entered this world on September 11, 1942 in Athens, TX, born to Robert Odessa and Lena Mae (Abney) Wright. W.B. worked for Nipak and for the State of Texas as a corrections officer. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and, in the past, was a City Council Member as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge. W.B. had some college credits and he also served this country in the Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lena Wright; brother Carl Wright & sister-in-law Myrna, Billy Ingram, Vivian Ingram and special nephew Steven Wright.

He is survived by his spouse Eva (Ingram) Wright; daughter Michelle Gonzales and husband Sam, son Robert Wright and wife Paulette; grandchildren Joshua, Jaime and Justin Ochoa, Emily Melendez, Patrick Wright, Jeremy Wright; eight great-grandchildren; as well as niece Shari Wright.

Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, Texas.
