William "Bill" Howell Townley

William “Bill” Howell Townley of Malakoff, Texas passed away July 30, 2020 in Palestine.

Bill was born December 31, 1958 in Sanford, FL to Lewis Howell Townley and Martha Ann Venable Townley.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He took great pride in being a marine.  He tried to live his life honoring the corps., his country, and God.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Martha Townley, and sister Nanci Townley.

Bill is survived by his beautiful daughters Brandy Martin & husband Jeffrey, Katie Knight & husband Cody, and Kristina Howard & husband Luke.  He is also survived by his brother Bryan Townley & wife Susan, sister Evie Fields & husband David, sister Sandy Tarpley & husband Tommy, brother James Townley, and sister Sheila Young.  His legacy continues to live on in his grandchildren Izzy Martin, Larry Rittenhouse, Katelynn Knight, Lucas Howard, Lilyana Howard, and Lynleigh Howard.  Bill will also be loved and missed by his aunts Nancy Cavanaugh, Kay Bonner, nephews Brandon Townley, Blake Townley, Bryan Townley, Scott Hernandez, Clint Venable, Cord Buchanan, nieces Jennifer Hernandez, Nanci Bauer, and Christine Morris.

Memorial service will be held at 11 AM Sunday August 9, at the Malakoff Cemetery with Scott Hernandez officiating.
