Vernon Weaver

Vernon Weaver, 80, was called to his eternal resting place on March 31, 2026.
He entered this world on September 2, 1945 in Dallas, TX, born to James and Virneeze Weaver. Vernon played the harmonica, liked to dance and enjoyed singing karaoke. He also liked talking about "the good times" and telling jokes. Vernon enjoyed playing the slot machines and working on cars, but he also liked fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Virneeze; wife Linda Weaver; sons Randall Weaver and Dennis Weaver.
Vernon is survived by his girlfriend, of 17 years, Colleen Carter; daughter-in-law Jane Weaver;
grandchildren Justin Weaver, Ashley Weaver, Patrick Hyde, Brandalyn Weaver, Brittney Weaver, Tiffney Weaver; great-grandchildren Isaac Weaver, Aa'Miyah Fillmore, Paityn Fillmore, Addison Pate, Anakin Pate, Emorie Jordan, Judsen Jordan, Casen Jordan, William Brantley; sibling Raynell Wigley and Johnnie Jobe.
Visitation for Vernon is 1:00 PM, Monday April 6, 2026, at Huckabee Memorial Chapel, 100 Tomlinson Lane, Seven Points, TX, with the funeral at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Mankin Cemetery in Trinidad, TX. Pallbearers are Patrick Hyde, Kevin Jones, Bryan Carter, JoeDell Wood, Chris Wood and Casey Webb.
