Vera Jo McCallum Cook

Vera Jo McCallum Cook, age 90 passed away on February 15, 2014 in Malakoff, TX. She was born on May 12, 1923 to Charlie and Emma Mitchell. Vera is survived by her daughter Pat, grandson Franklin McCallum Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Emma Mitchell, Husband Franklin McCallum, husband Donald Cook, brothers Guy Mitchell and Ralph Mitchell, sisters, Ruby, Nina, Thelma, and Aunt Sis and son James McCallum. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Service for Ms. Cook is Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff, TX at 2:00 PM with Bro. Steve Whitaker officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens, TX.
