He is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Ann Babb, sister Sandra Padgett, and brother Gene Babb.
He is survived by his spouse Paula Cook, children Terry Babb, Eric Babb, R.J. Babb, Jamie Honeycutt, Eddie Yates, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister Shirley Heald.
