Susan Pelligra Owen

Susan Pelligra Owen of Malakoff, TX passed away February 8, 2020 in Athens, TX. Growing up she was known to her family as Debbie. Surrounded by her beloved family, Susan's long battle of metastatic breast cancer came to an end. She will be greatly missed around the lake and the Athens area. As an owner of Wilson Floors, she has become well known over the last 18 years in the business. Susan was born in Lily, KY to the late James Moore and Anne Yaden. Susan is preceded in death by her father; James Moore, mother; Anne Yaden, son; Antonio Jamille Moore, sister; Rose Mery Yaden, sister; Darcy Newsome. She is survived by Debbie Pelligra, sister-in-law; Dawn Bolnick, daughter; Alisha and husband Daniel Rivas, grandson; Toni Rivas, granddaughter; Chelsea Marie Lemoine, great-granddaughter; Blakleigh Susan Lemoine, mom; Marline Pelligra, dad; Ed Pelligra, sister; Carolyn Vulgamore, sister; Ella Allen, sister; Doris Goodin, brother; Norman Yaden Jr., brother; Marvin Yaden, sister; Teresa McNew. A memorial service for Susan will be held at a later date.
