Sharon F Sheely

Sharon F. Sheely, 76, passed away on January 20, 2022, at her residence in Corpus Christi, Texas.   She was born July 13, 1945 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Grady B. and Flossie I. (Lemons) Rogers.

Sharon graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas in 1963.  She moved to Los Angeles, California shortly after and met her husband and started a family.  Sharon was very proud of being a mother to her two children.  She returned to Texas wtih her children where she worked hard to become a police officer. She became the first female police officer in Wylie, Texas.   She continued her career in law enforcement with the Collin County Sheriff's Department until she retired in 2011 as Lieutenant Sharon Sheely.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gwen, Alpha and Cathy along with her brother Grady Rogers. 

She is survived by her children Jason (Tammy) Sheely and Monica (Matt) Rohre.  She was blessed with many grandchildren; James Sheely, Ashley Sheely, Jordan Sheely, Madison Rohre, Molly Rohre, Rayne Glenn, Island Mosedale, Zaylie Perez & Taylen Santellana.

A graveside service will be held by the family on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Sharon will be will be remembered for her love of family, Elvis, and Dr. Pepper.
