Robert John Wells

~~Robert John Wells, 42 years old of Van, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Dallas, TX after a brief illness.
He was born  in Dallas, TX, June 8, 1975.  Robert was a gifted horse trainer; hence he was also known as the Horse Whisperer.  He spent a number of years traveling to the track with the horses and staying with them.  He loved doing this and always wanted to return to the horses one day.  He spent a few years working in construction with some travel.  He even learned to cook and entertained the idea of working in a commercial kitchen.  But his most recent passion was working with dogs, expecially rescue dogs.  He had a love for the Pit Bull Terrier types and his dog Roscoe will miss him very much.

I am going to miss my son terribly. He was a gifted race horse trainer. Hence the Horse Whisperer. He did that a number of years traveling to the track with the horses and staying with them. He loved doing this and always wanted to return to the horses one day. He spent a few years working in construction with some travel but this wasn't his passion. He even learned to cook and entertained the idea of working in a commercial kitchen. But his most recent passion was working with dogs, especially rescue dogs. He had a love of the Pitt Bull Terrier types and I am sure his dog, Roscoe, will miss him as well.
