Robert John Wells

~~Robert John Wells, 42 years old of Van, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Dallas, TX after a brief illness.
He was born  in Dallas, TX, June 8, 1975.  Robert was a gifted horse trainer; hence he was also known as the Horse Whisperer.  He spent a number of years traveling to the track with the horses and staying with them.  He loved doing this and always wanted to return to the horses one day.  He spent a few years working in construction with some travel.  He even learned to cook and entertained the idea of working in a commercial kitchen.  But his most recent passion was working with dogs, expecially rescue dogs.  He had a love for the Pit Bull Terrier types and his dog Roscoe will miss him very much.
Surviving family members are:   Father, Jerry Wells and step-mother Cyndi; Mother, Martha Hazzard Decker and husband Ken; Brother, Jason Wells; Step-brothers, Will  Muldoon and wife Daniella, Matt Muldoon and wife Nicole; Grandmother, Suzanne Hazzard; numerous nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by Grandfather and Grandmother, Virgil and Veronica Wells, and Grandfather, Robert Hazzard.
Graveside Services will be held at Ware Cemetery at Tolosa, TX, Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00am.
