Ricky Dunklin

Ricky Dunklin, husband, father, grandfather, and son, was called to his eternal resting place on May 21, 2025. He entered this world on March 18, 1960 in Corsicana, TX, born to Ralph and Patsy Dunklin.

Ricky attended Independent Baptist College in Dallas. He loved that his motorcycle would draw attention and allow him to share the gospel with those who would gather around it. He was a member of Lake Athens Baptist Church. He retired from Centurylink after 18 years of service. He found joy in fishing and taking his sons and grandchildren along with him.

He is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Dunklin Howeth and Ramona Petty.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie Dunklin; father Ralph Dunklin; mother Patsy Dunklin; children Rachel Barton, Leah Dunklin, Jacob Dunklin and wife Jessica, Coy Powell and wife Caitlyn, Chris Powell and wife Stefanie, Azzie Lambert and husband Tommy, Justin Dunklin and wife Delaney, Gaston Mathews and wife Karissia; siblings Paula Dunklin Nichols, Paul Dunklin, John Dunklin, Jamie Dunklin. His legacy continues on through his 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Dunklin, Chris Powell, Justin Dunklin, Gaston Mathews, John Dunklin, and Jamie Dunklin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Coy Powell and Paul Dunklin.

A visitation at 2:00 PM and service at 3:00 PM for Ricky will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Lake Athens Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Bro. C.A. Middleton and Bro. Jacob Dunklin.
