Raymond Charles Dawson Sr. was born September 23, 1963, to Ira Pearl Jenkins and Bruce Irvin in Houston, TX. He passed away at the age of 62 on June 24, 2026, in Trinidad, TX.
Wolf was self employed for many years before retiring from Dallas Manufacturing (DMC) in Athens, TX. He was more popularly known for "I'm throwing some meat on the pit. Y'all better come on."
Preceded in death by one brother Aundrea Vallian, "his grandmother "Little Momma", and his wife Angie.
Left to cherish his memory and pass on his legacy are his loving mother Ira Pearl Jenkins of Trinidad, TX, daughter Ishonda Dawson, her children Joshua C. Jr., and Raya' Sunshine C. all of Athens, daughter Latoya Dawson and her husband Randy Morris and their children Levi M., Samantha M., and Danni M. all of Athens, son Raymond Charles Dawson Jr. and Daycha Lace and their children Skyler D., Emma D., Raymond D., Jade Pearl D. (AKA Boss Lady), stepson Zachariah Spencer of Athens, and his children Kailyn S, Kaiden L., Allysia L, Zion and Za'Riah S, Kehlani, Zacharia Carter S., and Zyrielle S. all of Athens. His siblings, John Vallian III, Robbie Faulk, Tammy Dawson, Sophia Brown, and Vivian Williams. Wolf also had a host of nieces, and nephews. Each and everyone of them he loved in a way only Wolf could. He also had many cousins and other family members and lifelong friends he treasured.
A celebration of Wolf's life will be Wednesday, June 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Cedar Fork Baptist Church, Trinidad, TX.
