Preston Taylor Meine

Preston Taylor Meine lost his hard-fought fight against Cystic Fibrosis on Monday, February 5, 2018. Preston was born June 2, 2003 in Athens, TX to Michael and Tina. After the passing of his mother, Preston was blessed to have a second mother come into his life, Christal.
Preston is preceded in death by his mother; Tina Allumbauch, grandmother; Conni Wiley, great-grandmother; Julia Worthy, and great-grandfather; Buddy Meine.
He is survived by his parents; Michael and Christal Meine, brother; Kagen Meine, soul-mate; Danielle Calderon, grandparents; Don and Cathy Meine, J.R. and Gwen Allumbauch, great-grandmother; Doris Meine, aunts; Elisha and Nathan Anderson, Tiffany Harris, Niki and Crystal Allumbaugh, uncle; Todd Meine, many friends, cousins, and loved ones, and forever remembered by the Texas Hunt for the Cure family.
Many thanks are given to Dr. Sharma, and the CF staff on D9 at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, as well as the entire ICU team.
Preston may have lost his battle, but his memory and strength will always live on in everyone he knew.
Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Seven Points will be open all day Friday, February 9, 2018 (9 am - 5 pm), with visitation at 6-8 pm. The service will be at 10 am Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Christian Life Center, Gun Barrel City, TX. Interment will follow at King Cemetery.

We are requesting everyone to wear casual clothes and something purple in honor of Preston and his fight with Cystic Fibrosis. We are expecting this to be a big and epic one. Although we miss him more each day, we are humble to see his selfless love in picture. He meant the world to us and impacted so many. We will finally see his fame glow in the most incredible way.
