Nelda Colvin "Dimp" Hendrix

Nelda "Dimp" Hendrix Colvin born to Warren & Jodie Colvin July 3, 1929 in Aley, TX passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, January 3, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Prayer and faith in God gave her the strength to live a great life. She is survived by brother & wife Harold & Nadine Colvin, sister Gail Brown, daughters Deb Knowlton, Lisa & husband Don Kern & Lori Frye; grandchildren Kyle & Dana Knowlton, Christina & George Wyatt and Shane & Amy Knowlton, and her great-grandchild Arthur Jimmy Wyatt. Preceded in death by brothers Les, Ansel, Dwain, Richard & Freddie Colvin and the Colvin sisters Helen Powell, Doris McMillan, Rachel Voight & Billie Jo Thornton. She taught us to take care of family and others and be kind to everyone. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, TX.
