Nadine Colvin

The world welcomed Ethel Nadine Randall on New Year's Day, 1938. She was born to Robert Fillmore and Gladys Lorena Gressett Randall, the youngest of four children.
Nadine grew up in Tolosa, Texas on her family's farm where at an early age she was instilled with the love of music and enjoyed learning about the world around her. She attended Kemp Schools, graduating in 1955. She caught the eye of Harold Colvin; they wed on June 18, 1955 and settled in Trinidad, Texas.
Their union brought two children, Patricia Lynn Colvin Frazier and Gregory Warren Colvin. She worked for Aetna Insurance in Downtown Dallas and Edward M. Polk Insurance in Corsicana. Nadine loved her family and she loved her Lord. She served where she lived, and used each day as an opportunity to show love to those around her - playing the piano at her church, visiting and signing at nursing homes, spending time with family and friends, helping out at school, or speaking with strangers at the store are just some of the many examples of Nadine's service-minded heart.
Nadine was a positive role model for her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert S. Randall, and her daughter. She is survived by her husband, son, brother A.J. Randall, sister Sue Randall Bennett, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. In our sorrow we take solace that Nadine is made whole again, and rejoice that she is with the Lord.
