Sherile words can not express how we feel about the loss of your best friend and soul mate. Jimmy and I have known Mike for many, many years. He was a part of Scott and Tricia's life. We truly enjoyed the time we spent with you all the last couple of years. Mike will always be in our hearts and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May God keep you wrapped in his arms during this hard time and may Mike rest in peace. Love you with all our hearts, Jimmy and Nancy Braziel.

Michael Barton was my friend from the first day I met him at Walmart........we used to talk about when he was a bouncer and how my cousin thought he was sexy.......But Mike was more than that to me he was like my brother always had my back no matter what .When Mike fell in love with Sherile he came and ask my opinion and I told him I thought it was great that he had found love and forget what everyone else thought and he didnt. ... remember everytime Sherile and I would talk crap to him he would take our heads and put them in the bend of his arm and raise us up ofg the ground and literally walk around with us dangling like ragdolls oh how we would laugh till our sides hurt.. also remember the saviour Mike was one night I was so anger at work I was gonna hurt someone and Mikes huge self pinned me down to the floor until I calmed myself down oh how we used to laugh about that night there's just so many story's I could tell you about my friend Mike aka fathead as I called him my friend my brother my savior he will be missed so much fly with the angels my friend I love you

Man you were literally like a brother to me. You used to always say my brother from another mother or big bald black and sexy. I can remember when I first started working at Walmart you would get on the phone and do Scooby Doo voice whenever this lady came into the store. The times we drank like fish, played horseshoes and all the times I got you killed played Call of Duty. Good times. Too many memories to mention. My brother, my friend.
