LeLan Williams, 81 years old of Tatum, TX left the walks of this life to walk eternally with his heavenly father on March 24, 2016.
He entered into this world on December 8, 1934 to the proud parents of Lee Douglas Williams and Margaret Chinoweth Williams. While living in Trinidad he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked for the TP&L plant before moving to Tatum in 1979. He was a member of member of the First Baptist Church Tatum and a 32nd Degree Mason. Surviving family members are Lois Ray Williams, wife and sons Donald Keith Williams, Scott Douglas Williams, Paul David and wife Jill Williams. Step-children: Debra and husband Keith Wilkerson, David Jenkins, Dianne and husband Steven Miller, Donna and husband Charlie Woodard. Grandchildren: Murphy Williams, Adasyn Williams, Lee Douglas Williams, Carolyn Williams Daugherty, Mindy Williams Lockheart, Jennifer Exline, Jeremy Wilkerson, Stephen Woodard, Matthew Woodard, Julie Ragnarsson, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father Lee Douglas Williams, mother Margaret O Chinoweth Williams, brother Walter Lee Williams and first wife Patricia Ann Ashley Williams. Graveside services will be held at Trinidad Cemetery, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Keith Wilkerson officiating.
