My Aunt Wannie as the family calls her was a very special person and lives in our heart. She reminded me of my Mother ,Wannie's sister Lida so much and they were close even though they didnt get to see each other very often. We stayed with Earnest and Lawanda a time or two on the lake and Wannie had the place fixed up so nice with lots of flowers and plants and we always had a great time. She as well as Uncle Earnest are missed yet lives in our memories forever.

LaWanda will always have a Special place in my heart. She was always there for me all the way back to my youth. She challenged me to grow "Texas" plants in Oklahoma with some success.
She shared many stories with me and we leaned on each other from time to time. So proud to have called her my Aunt. I miss you already.
