Jim Tullos, 86 years old of Athens, TX passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016 in Athens, TX.
Mr. Tullos was born in Henderson County on October 8, 1930 to Jake and Kate Agnes Tullos. He survived by his daughters Carolyn Tidmore, LaWona Dane & husband Parnell Jackson, Cynthia & husband David Roach, son Jimmie Darren Tullos, and friend Linda Prewitt. He is also survived by six grandchildren Shannon & husband Russell Cammaron, Cynthia & husband Danny Smith, Jarrod & wife Carly Herriage, TaWona Jackson, Jonathon Roach, and Cristin Simmons. Continuing his legacy is sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents Jake and Kate Tullos, brother Joe Freeman Tullos, and granddaughters Kaitlyn Elizabeth Herriage and Cara Nicole Herriage. A memorial service for Mr. Tullos will be Monday, November 7 at 1:00 at First Baptist Church, Cross Roads, Texas with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
