Janice Kay Carson

Janice Carson, 73, loved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister was called to her heavenly home on June 5, 2022.

She entered this world on October 23, 1948 in Joplin, MO, born to Gene and Corinne Moyer.

Janice was an avid reader. She enjoyed reading Christian books and her Bible. She attended Cedar Creek Church of God, Mabank until her health kept her from going. She enjoyed listening to worship music. She avidly cared for animals, especially dogs and cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gene and Corinne Moyer and daughter Rebecca Carson.

She is survived by her loving soul mate husband Gary Carson, daughters Jeannie Frakes and husband Kenneth, Jennifer Lentz and husband Dennis, son James McGuire and wife Marie, grandchildren Elijah McKinley, Rebellie McKinley, Derek Lentz and wife Rachel.

Visitation for Janice will be Thursday, June 9 at 2:00 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel, Seven Points, TX.

Service will follow, at 3:00 PM with David Holland officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Lentz, Derek Lentz, and Kenneth Frakes.

Interment will be at 11:00 AM Friday, June 17 in the DFW National Cemetery.
