 Memorial services for Janeth Sneed, 89, of Lakewood Subdivision on Cedar Creek Lake, will be held at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church of Tool, TX at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Jan 30th, 2021.
 Mrs. Sneed was born on March 1, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN to Donald and Lolita McLean. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 18, 2021.
 Jan married the love of her life, Jackie B. Sneed, on Jan. 31, 1953 in Dallas, TX. Jack and Jan were married 63 years until his passing on April 26, 2016.
 
 Jan was survived by her two children Jeffrey Sneed of Arlington, TX and Julie Tinsley and husband Bobby of Joshua, TX. Jan is also survived by grandchildren Mindy Whitecotton, Glen Tinsley, Nolan Tinsley, and Chris McMurrey; great-grandchildren Morgan Whitecotton, Wyatt, Harper, and Waylon Tinsley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She loved all of her family so very much and was proud of each and every one!
 Jan was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and homemaker. She served as secretary-treasurer of the Malakoff Booster Club for three years and the Malakoff School Board for ten years, where she was instrumental in establishing the wonderful Malakoff Elementary School in Tool, TX. For years, Jan supported The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, American Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society, March of Dimes, and many other organizations. If there was ever a needy cause, she unselfishly gave, as she had a heart of gold. One of her favorite leisure time activities was playing bridge with all of her many girlfriends.
 She will be sorely missed by us all, but we celebrate the fact that her loved ones that have passed before are now rejoicing with her in Heaven.
 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Arthritis Foundation in Janeth Sneed's honor.
