Wade Coker

Visitation for James Wade Coker of Malakoff, TX will be Thrusday September 7, 2023 at Saint John Lutheran Church, Athens, TX. Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Seth Davidson officiating.

Wade was born October 2, 1964 in Houston, TX to James William Coker and Barbara Dean Schutze Coker. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and fantasy football. One of the most memorable times in his life was when he coached his kids in softball and baseball.

He is preceded in death by his father James Coker, sister Elizabeth Paige Hawkins, brother Grant Bongio.

He is survived by his wife Trisha Coker, mother Barbara Truehitt, children Morgan Coker and Garrett Connally, Mason Coker, Madison Coker, sister Sheryl Coker, and brother Cameron Coker.

Serving as pallbearers will be Colton Barker, Matthew Rodriguez, Nick Garrett, Michael Bettencourt, Mack Dickey, and Bryon Sifers. Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Taylor, and George Wilson.
