Harold Kristy Lowry, 70, passed away in his home, Saturday, April 17, in Star Harbor, Texas. He was born July 26, 1950, to Harold and Bessie Lowry in Henrietta, Texas. He graduated from Henrietta High School and received his business degree at Midwestern State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. On May 5, 1973, he married his wife of 47 years, Vicki Small, from Archer City, Texas. He worked for Trinity Industries for 34 years. Kris enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and going on golf cart rides with his dog Charlie.
Survivors include his wife Vicki and their two sons; Craig Lowry of Azle, Texas and Clayton Lowry of Haltom City, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Aria Lowry, and Lynnox, Easton and Madyson Strong, and their mother Amber; one sister, Ann Glazener and husband Keith of Tomball, Texas as well as 2 nieces, and 1 nephew, 1 great niece, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and his father and mother-in-law.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church of Malakoff in Malakoff, Texas, with Dennis Hester officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith In Action Outreach of Malakoff, Texas.
