Harley Hans Hoglin

It is with great sorrow that I write this on behalf of my beloved, my dearest greatest friend, my soul mate, Harley H Hoglin.

Usually, Harley wouldn't need me to speak for him but, you see, he is not able to anymore for he has passed from this mortal coil, released at last from the pains of war (etc) he returned home from so long ago.

Harley was preceded in death by his beloved parents and is survived by myself - his wife, Rebecca, three brothers: Glen Hoglin, Greg Hoglin and John Hoglin, all from out of state, as well as many much loved nieces and nephews. He will be and already is deeply missed by his family as well as the many people whose lives he touched.

Several friends have requested services so that they may have closure. Unfortunately, due to my own lengthy illness, this with be delayed but the event will be posted in the Mabank, Texas area newspapers ASAP. Those who wish to have private services are certainly welcome to and encouraged to do so.

Harley had always been an animal lover and defender, and would deeply appreciate donations made to:
Friends Of The Animals (FOTA)
P.O. Box 5455, Mabank, Texas 75147

Thank you for remembering my greatest, best friend. He would be deeply touched.

Thank you for sharing this. I remember his speaking of you. He cared deeply about you.

In fact, Harley seldom cared only a little. When he cared, it was always deeply.

Harley is my brother in Christ. He worked with my mother for many years. We attended church together. He is going to be missed. He made a mark in this world!!!!!

Harley was a student of mine and I always enjoyed him so very much. He was intelligent and had a certain wit about him that I thoroughly enjoyed. I knew he had a hard time after coming out of the military and I was glad to cross his path after my tenure at EISD. I have lost so many wonderful former students and this just breaks my heart. God bless you and your family as grieve this outstanding man. I loved him.
