Edna Marie Dallas Beck of Seven Points, TX passed away on August 8, 2015 at the age of 74. Edna was born on November 13, 1940 in Borger, TX to George Jackson Dallas Jr. and Eppie Elizabeth Coffee Dallas.
Edna received her master's in education at Abilene Christian College, and was a teacher in Grand Prairie, TX for 15 years. Edna loved doing volunteer work at First Baptist Church in Tool, TX working in the food pantry and library, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School Classes and helping with the Awanas youth group and playing pegs and jokers with the church seniors and love to travel.
She is survived by her loving husband Carl W. Beck, step daughter, Lynette and husband Chad Duha, brothers, George J. Dallas, Albert Thompson, Larry Thompson, Robert Thompson and Neil Thompson, sisters, Zelda K. McGibboney, Leah Thompson, aunt, Loretta Riddle, grandchildren, Darrian Duha and Makaila Duha, great granddaughter, Larli Duha
She was preceded in death by her parents George J. Dallas Jr. and Eppie Thompson, sister, Viola Mercer.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Tool First Baptist Church in Tool, TX
