Dianne Solis

Dianne Solis left this world to be in the arms of the Lord on the evening of April 1st, 2026.

Born on June 24th, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Thomas and Willie Ruth O'Connor, Dianne would move to Athens, TX in 1997. She was short in stature, but was tough as nails and had a feisty personality that would lead the rest of her family. Besides her everlasting faith, she enjoyed soap operas, game shows, Hallmark movies, westerns, Steven Seagal, and the KLTV 7 weatherman Mark Scirto. She was a social butterfly, always eager to talk to anyone she crossed paths with.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Willie Ruth O'Connor, and her husband of 17 years, Paul Solis. She is survived by her former husband, Edward Williams, and their five children, Eddie, Annette, Sharon, Robert, and Shelia, and grandchildren Tammy, Natalie, Tara, Eden, Caitlin, Jessica, Fernando, Emelia, Monica, and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Dianne at First Baptist Church at Athens, TX on Saturday, April 4th, at 2:00pm.
