Dennis Robert Butler

Dennis Robert Butler of Tool, TX passed away on May 13, 2015 at the age of 91. Dennis was born in Trent, TX on June 28, 1923 to Dennis Leroy Butler and Odessa Kelly Butler. Dennis retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant after serving 30 years. Dennis enjoyed baseball, golf, traveling, playing dominoes and spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild. He is survived by his son, Bobby Wayne and wife Patricia Butler, daughter, Linda Cheryl and husband Carol Robertson, son, Kenneth Dale and wife Geraldine Butler, sisters, Alma Judd, Doris Shafer and Elouise Price, five grandchildren, nine great children, one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Leroy and Odessa Butler and wife Betty Louise Butler. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, TX. Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Tool, TX. Clergy: Bro: Charles Tapley In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
