Connie Masterson, 71 of Athens, TX passed away July 1, 2016 in Athens. Connie was born April 22, 1945 in Tulsa, OK.
She was a member of the East Texas Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary where she enjoyed many hours of volunteering. She was a member of First Baptist Church Malakoff. Connie enjoyed going and ministering at the nursing home. Connie is survived by her son Craig Masterson and wife Shay, granddaughter Kenzie Masterson, brother Alex Cox, and sister Melody Rose. She is preceded in death by her husband Emory Masterson and mother Mildred Jones. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3 from 6-8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX. A graveside service will be Monday July 4 at 9 AM in Baker Cemetery, Kemp, TX. Bro. Jody Jones will officiate the service.
