Carla Anderson

Carla Anderson, 67, resided in Malakoff, TX. She went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2015. Carla was born in Los Angeles, CA, January 28, 1948 to William Earl White and Leatrice Laurendine White. Carla work six years at Los Angeles County Court, Thirty years as a systems manager for the United States District Court in Los Angeles, five years as an appraiser for San Bernardino County. Carla received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University Los Angeles in 1978. During her retirement, she found great joy in quilt making, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and volunteering at the local Malakoff School, where she helped children learn to read. Carla was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Malakoff, Texas.
She was a member of the International Christian Scholarship Foundation with United Methodist Church of La Verne California and Malakoff, Texas. She held numerous awards, certificate of appreciation from the U.S. Marshal, service for outstanding professional support, certificate of appreciation from the U.S. District Court for years of service and recognition from La Verne United Methodist Church. She is survived by the love of her life, Pat Anderson, two daughters, Cardonna McClure and Le Ann Tinkshell, son, Richard Anderson and wife Tara Lynch, grandchildren, Brandon and Bianca Henlon, Greta Anderson, great grandchildren, Simone, Aubrianna and Brandon, Jr., Henlon, sister, Nona Cleveland, loving cousins and many family and friends. Memorial service will be held in La Verne, CA on May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Memorial service will be held in Malakoff, TX at a later date.
