Will definitely miss seeing Mr. Gunnels at church on Sunday, either in front or right behind us, always eager to greet my family with a handshake, a hug and his warm, genuine smile. His love for Jesus was as evident as his love for his family. Bob was always eager to know that you too knew his Jesus!! Love to you Wanda and Felicia, and strength to you Scott and your boys. We are praying for you all.

A kind and loving man gone from us to soon. I will miss Bob's smile and warm hearted hand shake, discussions about his grandsons and my sons and the sports they are involved in. One of two men I've ever known who could pull off wearing a white hat and not get it dirty. My prayers are with Wanda, Felicia, Scott, the boys and the rest of the family. Rest easy my friend in God's eternal promise. Your job here is done and what an impact you have made. Until we meet again. ... Kevin Cockrell

Bob Gunnels and his amazing family were my first neighbors after I married; and, their children were like my children. I love you all with all my heart and prayers.
