Bobby Joe Norman, age 63 of Malakoff, TX Passed away March 31, 2016 in Tyler, TX.
Bobby was born in Clovis, NM on August 19, 1952 to Roy Edwin Norman and Viola Bernice Gordon Norman.
He served our great country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life Phyllis Ann Hartley Norman on May 5, 1972 in Lovington, NM. They have lived in Malakoff for the last 17 years. Bobby is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons Timothy Norman, Billy Norman and wife Maranda, brothers, Herbert Norman and wife Dolores, Troy Norman and wife Francis, sisters, Telita Fitzgerald, Linda Reed and husband Gordon, Judy Glasscock and husband Carl, Karen Melton and husband Danny, sister-in-law Kathey Covert and husband Donnie. His legacy continues with four grandchildren Morgan Norman, Brooke Norman, Madison Hathorn, Braxton Riggs Norman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Those who preceded Bobby in death are his parents Roy and Viola Norman, his son Michael Norman, and brother Wallace Norman. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lovington, NM.
