Betty Sue Avant, 84, passed away on January 5, 2026 in Mabank with family by her side. She was born to Earl and Nellie Wilson on October 27, 1941 in Vernon, AL,

Sue received an Associates Degree of Applied Arts in Mid Management and received a completion of numerous additional business, management, legal and computer courses. With her education she was able to have a successful career. She worked as an Industrial engineer assistant, production supervisor, human resource facilitator/trainer, department facilitater/trainer. She owned and operated "On the Lake Cafe". She was office manger for Wylie News and was a bookkeeper for two companies. Sue also managed rental properties.

When Sue wasn't working she enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed doing crafts, softball, computers, and working with children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Nellie Wilson, husband Alfred Sebring, husband John Vidauri, husband Jack Jones, children Alfred Joe Sebring, Sherrill Watson, step son Darrel Sebring, granddaughter Misty Sebring, granddaughter in law Vivian Bundy, great grandson CJ Boman, great granddaughter Nevaeh Boman, great great granddaughter Adonica Davis, great great great granddaughter Liliahna Gonzalez, and brother Wayne Wilson.

Sue is survived by her husband Laurence Avant, grandchildren Joseph Sebring, Earlina Watson, Nathan Watson, Brooke Boman, Jones family grandchildren, Jason Eidam, great grandchildren Slatyn Sebring, Savery Sebring, Victoria Gibson, Aaliyah Boykin, Casey Boman, A'lia Eidam, sister Ann Dady, son in law Terry Watson, step daughter Jessica Avant Smith, step children Matt Jones, Jackie Jones, Tony Jones, Charla Jones, the Vidauri children, and niece Debbie Sanders.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Huckabee Memorial Chapel in Seven Points, TX. Service will be at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Cody Craig officiating. Interment will be in Tool Cemetery.
