Betty Jean Phillips

Betty Jean Phillips, of Mabank, passed away quietly on Monday December 30, 2019 at Mabank Nursing Home with her loving family near by. She was 93 years old. She was born on Tuesday December 21, 1926 in Warrensburg, Missouri the daughter of Harry John Lohman and Dorothy Inez Collins Lohman. Survivors Include: her children, Jenifer Duncan, David Phillips and Betty Jo(BJ)Session; her grandchildren, LeeAnn Clark, Slim McVay, Yvonne Zorman, Bo Jacobs, Shannon Passmore, Lance Phillips, Dustin Phillips, Ashley Phillips and Ryan Session. Her legacy lives on in her 16 grandchildren.
Those who have preceded her in death are her parents Harry John and Dorothy Inez Lohman; her husband Virgil Phillips; her precious son Michael Virgil Phillips, her brother Bobby Lohman and her son-in-law Marvin Duncan. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Slim McVay, Ryan Session, Dustin Phillip and Lance Phillips. Also serving as pallbearers are John Passmore and Rick Clark. Visitation with friends and family will be Saturday, Jan 4, 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff, TX; with the funeral services immediately following.
