Betty Fontenot

Betty Fontenot of Malakoff, TX passed away on September 5, 2014 at the age of 80. Betty was born in Malakoff, TX on February 11, 1934 to Rupert Sims and Jessie Carter Sims. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Leonard Fontenot, daughter, Denise Holder and husband Michael Allen, son Danny and wife Joyce Fontenot, sisters, Hilda Jo Anding, Wanda Jean Hampton, Phyllis Munsterman, Kathy Isgitt, Keetah Holley and Alfa June Spallding, grandchildren, Mathieu Fontenot, Angela Fontenot, Trace Holder and Gary Holder, great grandchildren, Morgan Holder, Cassidy Holder and Zane Holder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert Sims and Jessie Carter McWhorter, brother, Marlin Nichols. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff, TX. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Post Oak Cemetery in Malakoff, TX
